Deborah Elizabeth Vavasseur Barnes-Jones (born 6 October 1956) is a British diplomatic and administrative figure.
Barnes-Jones was the Governor of Montserrat from 10 May 2004 to 6 July 2007. She was the first female governor of a British Overseas Territory. Before this appointment she was the British ambassador to the Republic of Georgia, taking up that office in 2001.[1]
